Another residential security project has been successfully completed by VP Security, helping a Perth homeowner improve visibility around the most important areas of the property. The installation was planned to strengthen everyday monitoring while maintaining a neat, discreet finish that suited the appearance of the home.
Our team completed a professional Home CCTV Installation in Perth with cameras positioned around the front entrance, garage, side access and other outdoor areas. Each location was carefully selected to provide practical coverage of common access points without creating unnecessary blind spots or leaving excessive cabling visible around the building.
The Homeowner’s Security Requirements
The homeowner wanted a dependable CCTV system that could provide clear footage during the day and at night. They also wanted convenient access to live and recorded video through a mobile phone, allowing them to monitor the property while at work, travelling or away from home.
The project focused on:
- Installing a complete six-camera CCTV system
- Selecting the AccuPick AI Camera Kit – From $2,299
- Installing 6 × 6MP AI WizSense cameras
- Using an eight-channel 4K AI NVR with 4TB HDD storage
- Monitoring the front entrance and driveway
- Covering the garage and vehicle parking area
- Improving visibility along the side access points
- Recording activity around important outdoor areas
- Providing smart person and vehicle detection
- Using AccuPick AI search to locate important footage faster
- Supporting live and recorded mobile viewing from anywhere
- Providing reliable day and night monitoring
- Maintaining a clean installation with minimal visible cabling
Strategic Camera Placement
Good CCTV performance depends on more than the number of cameras installed. Camera height, viewing angle, lighting conditions and the position of doors, paths and boundaries all influence the quality of the final coverage.
For this project, the cameras were positioned to observe movement approaching the home and provide useful footage of people and vehicles. The team also considered the appearance of the property, mounting each camera carefully and keeping visible cabling to a minimum wherever possible.
The completed system now provides:
- Professional home CCTV installation
- Strategic coverage of entrances and outdoor areas
- Clear day and night monitoring
- Smart person and vehicle detection
- Reliable recording and footage access
- Remote mobile viewing from anywhere
- A neat finish with minimal visible cabling
- A security solution customised to the property
A CCTV System Designed Around the Property
Every home has a different layout, which is why a standard camera position will not suit every installation. The team at VP Security Solution assesses the building, access routes and coverage priorities before completing the installation.
This property required balanced coverage rather than simply placing cameras wherever mounting was easiest. By planning the system around the homeowner’s needs, the final installation supports more useful monitoring and a cleaner overall result.
